We did it! Supporting our first responders!

We worked in support of the Gary Sinise Foundation to support their Emergency COVID-19 Combat Service campaign! We raised $1,130 by our goal date of April 12, 2020 — and the Schnick Family Foundation matched your donations up to $1,000. Thank you for helping support our heroes!

Of course, everyone knows Lt. Dan Taylor, the character from the film Forrest Gump, played by actor Gary Sinise, who has had a long, distinguished career in Hollywood and television. In our view, his greatest legacy will be his foundation, which has long-served disabled veterans, their families, and first responders.

“Like you, we are continually heartbroken as we learn of the deaths of police, firefighters, and other first responders to COVID-19. This effort is dedicated to them.”

During this crisis we’ll support the Sinise Foundation’s efforts to provide grants to first responders in need of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when answering COVID-19 service calls. This effort will also provide financial assistance to service members, veterans, first responders, and their families who have been impacted by COVID-19.

We think you’ll agree that helping to provide life-saving equipment is worthwhile effort, as is assisting in the purchase of PPE and essential gear that guards against transmission of COVID-19 for these valiant and selfless heroes. We’re in, and we hope you are too!

We can no longer just sit on the sidelines…hearing stories that our first responders are lacking the necessary equipment to do their jobs – AND to be as safe as possible while doing them.

So again, we raised $1,130 in donations from generous people like you by our goal date of April 12, 2020, and the Schnick Family Foundation matched your donations up to $1,000. Thanks for helping us serve our COVID-19 first responders on the front lines!
